Statistical Programmer

I joined Cmed in February 2006, as a graduate SAS programmer. Prior to this I had had only limited experience in the industry. However, in the early stages Cmed heavily invested into my potential with plenty of training and a continuous stream of challenging projects to aid my development.

I was promoted twice moving from a graduate role to a more senior programming role, with some management responsibilities. This progression was coupled with fantastic opportunities to work on important and challenging studies for some of the biggest Pharma company names.

After three and half years I decided it was time for a change and I left the company. However, after a short spell my personal circumstances changed dramatically and I found the change in career was less desirable than previously assumed. I therefore re-applied to work again for Cmed. The company, very kindly and very professionally, welcomed me back: offering me the new role that I had been looking for.

I now work in the Biostatistics and Statistical Programming department, where I can further develop my SAS programming skills - the work is both varied and challenging. Working for Cmed is very fulfilling and extremely rewarding, and I’m glad to be back!
