Job Description
Job Title: Head of Marketing/Director of Marketing (Cmed CRS)
Reports To: Chief Operations Officer
Department: Business Development, CRO Services
Core Responsibilities
The Head of Marketing/ Director of Marketing will manage all day-to-day marketing activities:
- Develop and execute a marketing plan based on knowledge (incl market research) of the CRO market
- Work closely with senior management, customers and team members to develop campaign concepts and marketing materials
- Develop compelling collateral materials such as customer success stories, fact sheets, brochures, e-mail outreach and press releases. This will include the delivery of technical articles to support the sales team in US and Europe
- Plan and execute successful events, including conferences, demonstrations, special corporate events, industry trade shows and Webcasts
- Research and negotiate pricing and contracts for venues, catering, audiovisual, travel, accommodations, awards, giveaways, printing, event staging, keynote speakers and entertainment
Essential Work Experience And Qualifications
- Experience marketing clinical research services
- Experience of researching pharma/ biotech pipelinesExperience in creative or graphic design
- Degree or equivalent in medical/ biology related subject
- Experience marketing of CRO services to biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences companies
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel (i.e., traditional and digital) advertising,
- Demonstration of excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to build presentations, prepare technical papers, journalists and other key opinion leaders
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% (for tradeshows, marketing events, etc
