Dedicated reporting environment within Timaeus

Timaeus uses an industry standard environment that provides an extremely powerful tool for generating reports which is specifically decoupled from the data collection and cleaning part of the system. This has the following advantages:

• Reports run much faster and do not slow or affect the clinical data collection and cleaning database (or vice versa)
• Reports are very easy to write
• Reports are always up-to-date. Data (and metadata) are taken from a live CDISC ODM stream within Timaeus and automatically inserted into the reporting tables in real time

Such reports can be requested by users over the web, so in this sense they are “on-line”. Timaeus can also stream data into client Clinical Data Warehouses.
