Technology Solutions
In reality, Cmed believes that current eDC (electronic Data Capture) technologies offer simple eDT (electronic Data Transmission), moving clinical data that is first recorded on paper or elsewhere to the sponsor or CRO. Although eDC can provide benefits over paper-based data transfer, many users have experienced practical problems and shortcomings.
Why? eDC today fails to address the real world in a busy clinic, and fails to recognise all the different types of clinics there are around the world. It does not address the whole clinical trial data capture and management ecosystem, from the clinic to the patient to the sponsor etc.
Cmed have uniquely combined technology and people. That is, pharmaceutical industry and CRO executives (experienced in clinical project management or monitoring and data management), work alongside cutting edge technology originating from Oxford University, and, of course, most importantly, investigator sites. Using this combination we’ve designed, engineered, built and refined a radically different solution called Timaeus. It is uniquely designed to meet the needs of sponsors/CROs AND the investigator sites, it starts where other systems end.
